Cultural Competency Education
1 Hour Required
Complete at least one hour of cultural competency and humility continuing education during each two-year renewal period. The course must be offered through an accreditation agency approved by the California Board and address all content areas specified by California law.
This is the only continuing education currently required by California for pharmacy technician license renewal. PTCB- or NHA-certified technicians must separately meet their certification organization’s requirements.
